4/5 of 60

Today in math we were doing fractions we got to solve whatever we want the options were 4/5 of 60, 3/8 of 82 and something I do not remember. I picked 4/5 of 60. When I was working Mrs McG said if we want to work the questions out first we need to figure out what 1 was or you were not going to get anywhere. Later I found out that one 5th was 12 so then I just needed to know what 4x5 is and I found out that was 48 and there is my answer. Did you know the answer all along how did you find it out?

Information Report About The Moon

Today I finished writing an information report about the Moon. This week we are learning about space, stars and planets. It was hard researching because I know nothing and I mean NOTHING about space but it was easy writing once I knew a little bit about the Moon If you want to learn about the amazing Moon then you can read my information report.

Kite Flying

Yesterday everyone went out and flew kite they either made a home or school I didn't make one thou because I forgot and we we´re not allowed to do it at school except for the juniors. Lots of crazy things happened a kid called Cameron got hit by a huge kite and my friend Oscar had a kite that was a stick with a short line of string and a plastic bag stuck to it but it did not fly so Oscar just waved it around in the air as we all laughed.

My Pepeha

Today i´m posting my Pepeha with all of my family members. It was hard making all the words Maori but easy making my family and remembering their first name. Have you made a Pepeha before, if you have then you can comment and tell me what was hard about and what was easy about it.

Making a Treasure Map

Today I made a Treasure Map with instructions. First I had to draw the islands and mark the places on the maps and then I could colour it in. Then we wrote instructions of where to go to find the treasure also each square was 100 meters. Then we had to get someone to read the instructions and find the treasure and when they do you write the directions on signs and then you can get them stuck onto the wall by Mrs Mcg.

My Digi awards Animation

Today is a day where we are getting everything we haven't blogged blogged today so here we go. I made an animation called "How We Can Make Life Easier For Teachers" because I heard that on the news teachers we're having a ruff time also i'm sending this onto Digi Awards. It was hard making all of the speech bubbles, text and making it so the audience can be fast enough to read it in time before it goes to the next slide but easy making the characters and actually making the characters move. I don't know if I win but I might have a Tiny chance of winning.

Matariki Animation

Today i'm blogging my Matariki Animation because it is close to the time of Matariki. It was hard memorizing the story so I had to listen to it about 6 times but it was easy making the animation once I knew what I was doing. I am pretty proud of my animation and I think it is one I of my best I have made at school.

Words You Can Use Instead Of Said

Today me and Tyler finished making an animation called "Words You Can Use Instead Of Said" Where Tyler is writing a story and I add a word instead of said and it makes his story much better. It was hard making all of the speech bubbles because it got really tiring after a while but it was easy making the animation itself.

The 7 Stars Of Matariki Maths

Today in math Mrs Mc,G told us to draw stars on a white board in the shape of the  stars from Matariki and see how many shapes with corners you can put into it because Matariki was coming up. It was hard making all the shapes because the stars we're in such odd positions but easy making the stars. The most simple shape I made was the Triangle but the hardest I found was the polygon witch was the whole 7 sides. Can you find more then me? You probably can but that's all the shapes I could find that weren't polygons.
