Summer Learning Journey 2018-2019 Prize

Yesterday a girl name Emma came to South Hornby School told us about the summer learning journey. This years theme is the world around us the lessons are going to be based on sea, air, land and sustainability. Its good to do the summer learning journey because if you don,t then you move down but if you do join the summer learning journey then you stay where you are and once you get back to school you can pick up from where you left it. If I won the summer learning journey then I would like a packet of Pokemon cards, a minecraft hoodie and a 15 dollar Nintendo E shop gift card.

Kenning Poems

In writing with Mrs McG we learnt about kenning poems. They are an old Nordic style poem. They have 8 lines and always has a noun and a word ending in "er". Our example was a spider. Our first sentence was a insect eater. I found it hard making 8 lines 3 times but I found it easy thinking of all the animals and creatures. These are my kenning poems.

How To Brush Your Teeth

For this week and before we have been learning about health and personnel high jean. Today I finished an animation teaching 5-7 year old's you to brush there teeth in heath and personal. It was hard making it so little kids could understand but it was easy making the animation because i'm a good animator. If you have got a younger sibling then maybe you might want to show this to him or her.

Japanese Blossom Tree Art

For Art the past week my class and me have been making some Japanese blossom tree art. It was really hard making the stump of the tree but it was easy adding on the flowers. I think my tree did really good. you might want to have a look at it.
