UP IN THE AIR Flying Solo
For today's activity I had to make a Ven-Diagram of the differences and similarity of Amelia Earhart and Jean Batten. It was hard researching about them because I do not know anything about them but it was easy writing all of it once I new what to write. Amelia Earhart and Jean Batten are 2 very famous flyers that have traveled great and impressive distances like 29,000 miles. Thats way more then me. Have you ever been on an amazing journey like that?

Hey Arie,
ReplyDeleteMe again. :)
Great venn diagram! I like how you've made the background a nice, bright colour - it really makes your post pop! :)
You've included some interesting information about Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart - I didn't realise how young Amelia was when she first started flying!
I can't say that I have been on a journey quite as big as that. I have done lots of smaller trips to other countries though. One of my favourite places to travel to is Japan. Where's your favourite travel destination?
Keep up the great work! :)
Bye for now,
Mikey
Hello Mikey! thanks for commenting again! My favorite travel destination has to be Kaikoura because everyone is so nice, it's got great food and I get to go on great boat trips, also I have never left New Zealand. Cya Mikey!

Hi Arie!
DeleteGreat choice! I've never actually been to Kaikoura but I hear it's beautiful. The boat trips sound cool - where do they take you?
Have a great day! :)
Mā te wā,
Mikey
Hello Mikey! On the boat trips we normally just go a little bit far from land and then we stop and go fishing. We also put out crayfish pots and bring them back up the next morning. Cya Mikey!

Hey Arie,
DeleteThat sounds like fun! Do you often catch anything? I'm not a big fan of fishing myself; I don't seem to have the patience.
Blog ya later! :)
