Today I am posting a picture of a robot I made called Pixer. We had to make our own robot because we watched a video of robots and how they cared for each other. After that the teachers gave us some activity's to do based on the short movie and the first one I picked was to build my own robot. It was hard making a name that was not boring but it was easy making the robot. Have you tried to make a robot before. I am pretty pleased with my robot to me it looks really cool.

Making An Alien Only Using 2D Shapes

Today in math I made an alien out of 2D shapes . I used triangles, step looking shapes and squares. It was hard finding shapes because my group was already digging into the box of shapes but easy creating the alien itself. Have you made an alien? My one looks like a centipede.

The Moon Landing Moment in time

Today I finished writing a moment time for the Moon landing because in school we are learning about space. It was hard doing this because I don't know much about the landing but I did add in some funny things for humor it was also pretty easy with my dialog. At your schools did you do stuff about the Moon landing?

Making And Creating Decimal Numbers

Yesterday in math my group had to draw examples of decimal numbers that Mrs McG wrote up on the white board. It was hard at first because I was new to the whole thing and it did not make scenes to me but once I found out how to do it was actuality pretty easy. To do it is easy and this is how. each number on the left side of a decimal point is a ten and the number on the right side of the decimal point is a one. For example: 1.62= one 10, a 6 and a 2. And that´s how you do it.

Phonics Flip Book

In phonics I made a flip book about things you can use in your writing like nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns and adverbs. We got to color it in and make it look cool. Once we did that we cut out the flip book and then cut a little bit between each of the flips. After that we had to get a piece of paper and cut it out so it was the same size of the paper. When we had done that we had to open the flips and write what the word meant under the flips. And then you've got your phonics flip book.

Today in math we were doing fractions we got to solve whatever we want the options were 4/5 of 60, 3/8 of 82 and something I do not remember. I picked 4/5 of 60. When I was working Mrs McG said if we want to work the questions out first we need to figure out what 1 was or you were not going to get anywhere. Later I found out that one 5th was 12 so then I just needed to know what 4x5 is and I found out that was 48 and there is my answer. Did you know the answer all along how did you find it out?

Today I finished writing an information report about the Moon. This week we are learning about space, stars and planets.
