Science-Change cork popping

Today for science we made bottle of chemicals flow up and make a cork pop up into the air.
First we filled an empty bottle with a 3rd of white vinegar in it. Then we poured 2 teaspoons of baking soda and quickly put on a cork and then the cork popped up into the air. The cork popped up into the air by the liquid flowing up and the weakest part of the bottle was where the cork was. So the Reactants were white vinegar and  baking soda. The product was a gas. and the chemical reaction was that the cork popped out. Just was I expected to happen.

Calendar art

For the last week we have been creating a piece of calendar art we used geometric abstraction. At first we practiced shapes on a piece of scrap paper. After that we had a piece of paper where we would put the shapes of what we would cut. then we cut and stuck the shapes on the black piece of paper. Mine was AMAZING. check it out.

What I know about novels

For the last six weeks we have been reading about a novel called all because of Walter.
It is illustrated by Mary dahl winton and written by carol kruegur.
At the start I was quiet but mow I'm starting to ask questions
For the last six weeks I have learnt that lots of  novels are really emotional.
Novels are chapter books and most of them make you not want to stop reading and you just cant put the book down. Overall I have learnt that novels can be really emotional. I suggest you read some.
