For Activity 2 of AGAINST THE ODDS I had to read a story of some one called Yusra Mardini a famous swimmer in the Olympics and I had to re-write the story in my own words so that is what I did. It was hard memorizing the names because her name was real hard to spell but it was easy remembering the scenarios that Yusra went through. Have watched the Olympics and seen her before?
This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note… some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Hey Arie,
ReplyDeleteMe again. :)
What a great little write-up on Yusra Mardini's story! You've included all the important information but kept your summary nice and short and engaging for the reader - well done.
Isn't it incredible that she swam for three and a half hours?! Especially while towing a boat! She must have been exhausted! I didn't see her swim at the Olympics, no. Did you do? Do you enjoy swimming yourself?
Have a great afternoon, Arie. I hope to hear from you soon. :)
Bye for now,
Mikey
