UP IN THE AIR Miracle On The Hudson

For Activity 3 of UP IN THE AIR we have had to read about a Miracle On The Hudson. The Miracle On Hudson is a story of how a plane crashed but the pilot landed the plane in the Hudson River with all of the passengers still alive. For this activity we have to talk about a scary thing that happened to you or someone you know where you or someone you know were in danger and had to do something about it. So Here is mine. One time me and my big brother Sam were crossing a road and a car was coming but Sam said we should go but he did not see the car. Luckily I saw it though so I said " NO!" and then the car went past so we crossed back to our house It was hard thinking of a time because I don't have lot of dangerous stuff in my life but it was easy writing the story.

  1. Kia Ora Arie,

I’m Dani, one of the blog commenters for the Summer Learning Journey. I normally hang out in the Kaikohekohe cluster but I have heard some great things about the learners in the Uru Manuka cluster so I thought I would come and see for myself!

That was very brave of you to stand up and say to your brother that no you should wait. It’s always better to be safe than sorry. What has been your favourite Summer Learning Journey activity so far? One of my favourite activities it’s activity three on day one of week two. Learners write a letter to Jacinda Ardern and I love reading how passionate everyone is about the the things Jacinda needs to change.

I look forward to reading more of your blog posts soon!

    Blog ya later,

    Dani
