HUMANITARIAN HEROES Everyday Hero's

For activity one of HUMANITARIAN HEROES I had to record a video or audio about 5 ways I can support people affected by the Fires in Australia and New South Wales. It was hard writing a script because I found it tricky finding ways to support these people but it was  easy recording because I found the right website. Have you been affected by these fires? ( Sorry blog won't let me post audio so here it is 1. Send cards of Happiness. 2. Send Gifts like lollies and Money. 3. Raise money by setting up a website or something. 4. Help them with daily stuff like mowing the lawns. 5. Talk to them and make them feel better.)

  1. Hey Arie,

You've come up with some really thoughtful ways of supporting those affected by the Australian bush fires. I'm sure they'd be very grateful for your kind gestures and words. Unfortunately, I can't actually see your video. Are you able to try re-posting it? I'd love to see it.

I haven't been directly affected by the fires but I do have family in Australia so I've been very worried about them. Also, last week the smoke that was blowing over from Australia turned the skies here in Auckland bright orange and made the air all hazy. It was quite scary. Have you experienced anything like that happening in Christchurch?

Have a great afternoon and I hope to hear from you soon. :)

    Bye for now,

    Mikey
