Zones Of Regulation

Today in Topic we had to fill some google drawings of zones. For example it will say when I am in this zone others might feel  and then there will be a box and you will have to write how others might feel in that box. It was hard writing what the might think because its depends on what the person is like but the rest was really simple. How do you feel when you are in any of the zones of regulation.

How I Can Fill Someones Bucket

Today in Homeroom time we are learning how to fill someones bucket. Filling someones bucket means that your doing something nice for someone and the teacher told us to put our hands up if we filled someones bucket today but not many people put their hands up so now we have to come up with 3 things we have to do to fill someones bucket this week. It was hard making the picture because its not very easy to make pictures on Chromebooks but it was pretty easy writing everything. This is what my poster looks like. What are you going to do to fill someones bucket this week?

Today I am posting a picture of a robot I made called Pixer. We had to make our own robot because we watched a video of robots and how they cared for each other. After that the teachers gave us some activity's to do based on the short movie and the first one I picked was to build my own robot. It was hard making a name that was not boring but it was easy making the robot. Have you tried to make a robot before. I am pretty pleased with my robot to me it looks really cool.

Straw Rafts

In Inquiry we are learning about the design process. The design process is where you plan, design and test a product or theory. Sometimes when you test it it doesn't work and you have to start again to see how you would make it better. Mrs McG gave us a challenge. We had to plan, design and build a straw raft to float with 40g of weight on it. We could only use 20 straws and a meter of masking tape. Our raft failed 2 times because it turns out for a straw raft to float you need to make the raft less then the water. We did some research about how rafts float and found that the straws have to be perfectly in line and not all wonky. we found it hard because we needed more straws.
